Message from the President:

Since 1982, ENSYTE (formerly Michael Smith & Associates, Inc.) has worked with clients world-wide to provide superior software applications and professional services. The software applications described in this website have been evolving since that date. With this updated website, ENSYTE announces a new release of the products as single user applications or as integrated database suites.  The familiar product names have been retained; however, the functionality and the appearance have changed dramatically.  In addition we have added new applications, such as, LANDTRAC and AFE and we have restructured the older products.  For example, we pulled the Contract module out of GASTAR and updated it to be a standalone Contract Management program.  We have patiently worked on these changes so that we can offer the oil and gas industry a new, robust set of applications to help manage the business challenges of the next several years. 

At the same time that we were busy upgrading and creating new products, I decided that the old licensing model was no longer applicable.  Basically all companies have the same business management issues, just on different scales.  Thus, I have scaled the application pricing formula to ensure that the smallest to the largest organization has a positive benefit to cost ratio for implementation. While the software components have roots in major applications for some of the world's largest organizations, today they are scaleable from a few dozen wells to thousands.

With the release of this new website, we are moving toward a different approach to marketing.  We will be setting up affiliate relationships to offer integrated software solutions with complementary products.  We will also strive to create alliances with companies that offer complementary services to ensure that You, the customer, can get the maximum benefit from the software.
